This is the website of Martin Wasserman. I've produced and hosted hundreds of television and radio programs, asking my guests hard questions about important issues. This site contains a brief description of some of my media work. My original background is in mathematics, and I've also had a successful career as a developer of high performance software tools for leading Silicon Valley Companies such as Intel, Loral and Applied Signal Technology.

Future Talk

Future Talk is a local access cable TV show produced at the Midpeninsula Media Center in Palo Alto, CA and underwritten by the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose. The goal is to examine the global impact of technology, both for good and for bad, and to try to see where the new technology is leading us. We do one new show per month, and the show has been seen on about 175 local access stations in 35 different U.S. states and New Zealand. More information about the show, including videos of past episodes, can be seen on the Future Talk website, www.futuretalk.net.

Spotlight On The Middle East

The Middle East is the place where the world's most intractable conflicts seem to converge in a volatile and explosive mix. In an attempt to shed light on the region, I hosted the local access cable series Spotlight on the Middle East from 2005 to 2008. You can see many of the interviews from the show by going to the website spotlight.deeperlook.net

A Deeper Look - Radio

From 1989 to 1996 I produced and hosted A Deeper Look, a general interest radio interview show on KCSM-FM in San Mateo, CA. To see a partial list of guests who appeared on the show, click here.

A Deeper Look - TV

In 1995 I produced and hosted a TV series that focused on local San Mateo issues, also called "A Deeper Look", on KCSM-TV.

Other Media

I've produced and hosted two other local cable TV series, "Just The Facts" in Cupertino, CA in the mid 1980's, and "Catalyst" in Berkeley, CA in the early 1970's. I've also appeared as a guest on other TV and radio programs.
